I’m super excited about the micro-trilogy that I’ve been working. It’s about three girls each getting a date for prom. The first in the series is Alex’s story, Single-handed, and is available for FREE at SmashWords!
I’m so excited!! Blind Date, Checkmate, my contemporary novella was featured in the February 2012 issue of RT Book Reviews. And I quote:
“WHY YOU SHOULD READ IT: We are hearing really great things about this second-chance romance story, which has been steadily climbing up the best seller lists at Amazon.”
“Cinderella, with a bite”

“A Bite’s Tale is a captivating story about Cinderella and a Prince, but it’s more than that. It has a little bit of everything, from werewolves, vampires, witches, and warlocks to love, heartbreak, anguish, threats, and promises.
“I simply could not stop reading A Bite’s Tale until I had finished. I’m not huge into gushing about books but let me just say that if you like Young Adult Paranormal Romance, then what are you waiting for? Go get it!”
“Wow, just WOW!”

“Wow – just WOW! Veronica Blade knows how to tell a story! This is the second story I’ve read by this author, and I’ve walked away from both of them just amazed that she completely had me so wrapped up in her tale that I forgot to breathe sometimes! I found myself holding my breath in anticipation. That’s saying something, since I haven’t done that over a fairy tale since I was a child, and I’m a 47 year old woman *blush*.
When an writer can tell a fairy tale with a twist that is written for young adults but done well enough to capture this chic’s attention with as much ease as a book written for adults over 18 that has really racy elements to it, you know she is a jewel!
You, Ms. Blade, are a rising star, and I’m am so thrilled to be watching you on your ascent!
Just a couple more weeks and From Fame to Shame in ebook format is comin’ atcha! That’s all for now. Will let y’all know when the paper back for FFTS is out.
What’s Your Story Book Reviews will be featuring Something Witchy This Way Comes in the form of an interview with Hayden Anders and Tessa McClean. Boy, Tessa’s got her hands full with that boy!
☆☆☆☆☆ A great supernatural story with a fairy tale twist!
A Bite’s Tale: A Furry Fable by Veronica Blade {Read Jan. 2012}
“This was a great supernatural story with a fairy tale twist. I actually wanted to read more. The story is about a summer love that goes beyond summer. It’s about a prince falling in love with a not so ordinary girl. Like most fairy tales there’s a ball, only this one includes vampires, werewolves, and warlocks. Cydney and Remy’s story has so many possibilities. I would love to read more about them. I loved the way the book was written and look forward to reading more of Veronica Blade’s work. I also really loved the cover art for the book. I would definitely recommend the book and give it 5 out of 5 stars.”
